Lister Hospital, as the reproductive center with the largest number of cycles, has more than 2,000 IVF cycles per year. In addition, it is also known as the best reproductive center in Britain. Here, I met Professor Tan, who introduced to me his research field, the relationship between natural killer cells and repeated embryo implantation failure. He had applied it successfully to clinical practice, and showed me a successful pregnancy case in which the patients had 10 times of IVF failure in many European countries.

Professor Tan, He is an overseas Malaysian. He has studied and lived in the UK for nearly 30 years, which enables him to switch freely between English, Putonghua and Cantonese. Tan Ming you has got his degree in medicine from Queen's University of Belfast in Northern Ireland and St. George's College of London University. He currently works in one of the largest private clinics specializing in the treatment of infertility in the UK(Lister). He also serves as a doctoral tutor at Imperial College of Technology. He has worked in reproductive medicine for more than 16 years. As a professional Reproductive Immunology Consultant, he is good at dealing with various complex cases, focusing on clinical treatment, but also funding the establishment of laboratories for frontier therapy research and testing. It is understood that the number of professional reproductive immunization counselors in the UK is only a single digit, and Tan Ming you is the only Chinese expert in that field of medicine in the UK.

Environment of Private IVF Clinic in UK

June,26th , 2019 sunny

I made a preview before going to the clinic. The Zita West Fertility Clinic is the UK’s only clinic offering IVF treatment as well as preconception planning and natural fertility trouble -shooting, all under one roof. They have pioneered a holistic approach to fertility, supporting their clients not just medically but, if needed, physically, nutritionally, emotionally and psychologically as well. Having a baby is a whole-body event and our uniquely comprehensive approach has helped hundreds of couples and single women to have babies each year, many of whom had thought that this may not be possible for them. They believe it can make the difference between failure and success, particularly the older you are.

They have a particular specialism in helping couples who are 40 or over. And with couples who have had failed IVF cycles elsewhere. Almost twice the NAT. average success rate for women 40-42.Their clinical pregnancy rate per fresh embryo transfer for women 40-42 is 46.9%,  and their CPR per fresh embryo transferred for the same age group is almost twice the national average. Their latest clinical pregnancy rate per fresh embryo transferred for the same age group as well as high rates of success for those above 35.

Zita West feels more like a fashionable reproductive clinic. Rober and Anita established this clinic. Today Anita met with us. We had a good chat. She was proud to help so many infertile couples. We saw many happy family smiles on the wall of her consultation room. The most worthy of learning thing of Zita West is its warm propaganda. We are going to visit their collaborative reproductive centre tomorrow under Anita’s recommendation. Many thanks.

Care London fertility feels more like a chain instructions which is found in many cities in the UK. Care London in central London left me a very good impression, and the CEO led us look around to introduce the reproductive center, including the laboratory, where I even saw their time-lapse technology. The CEO here is very humorous and young, we talk about everything from the development of reproductive center in Britain to the supervision of the reproductive market ,and to the professional technology, It is a very nice day.

 Why choose CARE?

More than 30,000 CARE babies have been born so far…It’s our approach that sets us apart. Your need for family is always at the heart of everyting we do. How successful is fertility treatment?

Success rates depend on the age of the patient, the cause of infertility, and other patient-specific factors such as lifestyle ( body weight and smoking status). The most important factor in predicting the success of fertility treatment is age: birth rates from fertility treatment fall with increasing female (or egg donor’s) age.

National statistics give an indication of success rates across the whole country and are not adjusted based on a patient’s (or donor’s) age or for each specific type of fertility problem.
